Polish Short Course Grand Prix: Second Day Concludes Meet
KOZIENICE, Poland, January 10. THE quick two-day Polish Short Course Grand Prix came to a close with a second day of short course meter swimming held in Kozienice.
Natalia Pawlaczek opened the second day with a winning time of 57.34 in the women's 100 free, while David Zielinski cruised in the men's 100 free with a top time of 52.04. Agnieszka Ostrowska clinched the women's 100 breast in 1:12.03, while Kacper Pelczynski earned the men's 100 breast crown in 1:06.44.
Agnieszka Krzyzostaniak touched out Agnieszka Podlecka and Aleksandra Nitka, 1:05.82 to 1:05.86 and 1:05.89, in an exciting finish in the women's 100 back. Radoslaw Kawecki crushed the competition in the men's 100 back with a 54.49. Marcelina Radlinska grabbed the women's 100 fly title in 1:03.76, while Mateusz Wysoczynski raced to victory in the men's 100 fly with a 57.79.
Aleksandra Urbanczyk hammered the field in the women's 100 IM with a 1:03.63, while Jakub Jasinski posted a 57.17 to win the men's 100 IM. Manuela Wikiel took home the women's 400 free title in 4:30.19, while Adam Dubiel snatched the men's 400 free in 4:02.19.
