HOLDEN BEACH, North Carolina, June 18. ACCORDING to an obituary in the Williams Herald, Mary Lee Watson passed away at the age of 86. Watson was an accomplished Masters swimmer who received the Ransom J. Arthur Award from United States Masters Swimming in 1995.
She also earned the Dorothy Donnelly USMS Service Award in 2007 for her service to USMS. Additionally, Watson was named to the Tennessee Swimming Hall of Fame in 1993 and was a USMS All-American in 1987 and 1988.
