Pal Joensen, Anton Ipsen, Jeanette Ottesen Post FINA A Cuts at Danish Open
Pal Joensen closed the night at the Danish Open with a FINA A cut in the men’s 1500-meter free.
Joensen clocked a time of 15:04.13, while Anton Ipsen finished second in 15:07.70. Both cleared the FINA A cut of 15:14.77. Oli Mortensen took third overall in 15:38.41.
Jeanette Ottesen claimed the women’s 100-meter fly title in 57.32, clearing the FINA A cut of 58.74. Emilie Beckmann took second in 59.13 with Caroline Erichsen earning third in 1:00.69.
Paul Biedermann of Germany clocked a 49.82 to win the men’s 100-meter free. Anders Lie finished second in 49.90 with Kevin Witt Christensen earning third overall in 50.34.
Alexander Gliese won the men’s 200-meter back in a time of 2:03.34. Andreas Kaas Elmgreen took second in 2:04.06, while Alexander Wildenschild wound up third in 2:06.09.
Julie Kepp Jensen won the women’s 50-meter back in 28.98. Anna Brandt Nielsen (29.80) and Victoria Bierre (29.81) rounded out the top three.
Tobias Bjerg claimed the men’s 100-meter breast in a time of 1:02.68. Christian Rasmussen touched second in 1:03.16 with Kristoffer Moos earning third in 1:03.48.
Line Jorgensen Bruun topped the women’s 200-meter free title in 2:02.40. Anina Nicole Lund tied Marina Heller Hansen for second with matching 2:02.42s.
