ANNAPOLIS, Maryland, December 15. FOLLOWING a U.S. national age group record in the 15-16 800 free relay as the second leg, North Baltimore Aquatic Club's Elizabeth Pelton, 15, came back with another at the NBAC Annual Christmas meet held at the U.S. Naval Academy.
Pelton checked in with a time of 1:53.23 to break Natalie Coughlin's national age group record in the 15-16 200 backstroke. Coughlin previously set the record with a 1:53.45 back in 1998.
Pelton broke the swim down as follows: 27.08, 28.11, 28.67, 29.37
