New Trier Wins Illinois Boys High School State

EVANSTON, Illinois. March 6. THE team from New Trier proved to be the dominant team at the Illinois boys high school state championships. New Trier finished the meet with 172 points and strangely enough, no individual titles. Talk about a team with some depth. New Trier, however, did win the 200 medley relay in 1:34.07.

The 200 free went to senior Tyler McGill from Champaign Central and teammate Ross Moore took the 100 fly. Naperville Neuqua Valley charged in with wins from Brian Alden in the 50 and 100 free.
