DALLAS, Texas. March 12. AT the Texas State Age Group Championships March 9-12 at Loos Natatorium in Dallas, 14-year old Mary Beck swam 7 events, won all 7 and set new records in each.
She now holds state records in the 100-200-500 freestyles, the 100-200 backstrokes and the 200-400 IM.
She set a NAG record in the 200 back. Mary set a new NAG record in the 100 back at the American Short COurse championships at UT the previous weekend. Mary was part of the 13-14 girls Longhorn Aquatics 800 frestyle relay which also set a new NAG record. Mary was awarded the high point and the "Female Swimmer of the Meet" award.
