BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, May 3. LSU head diving coach Doug Shaffer announced the signing of women's diver Kimberly Harris to the 2010-11 signing class Monday.
A native of Lido Beach, N.Y., Harris is a Junior Olympic Regional, Zone and National qualifier. She will be eligible to compete alongside current LSU divers Rebecca St. Germain and Elle Schmidt for the 2010-11 season, beginning next fall.
"I am excited for Kim to join the team," Shaffer said. "Kim has great natural ability, she is dynamic and very athletic. She is a tremendous talent and has limitless potential.
"I can't wait to start working with her. She will instantly add depth to our women's diving squad."
Harris plans to major in fashion merchandising.
