Louisville Cardinals Add Julie Mishler To Class of 2025

NEW COMMIT: The University of Louisville has received another verbal commitment for Fall 2025, this time from Olympic Trials qualifier Julie Mishler of Milford, Indiana.

She will join Kaitlyn Sallows as a member of the Cardinals’ Class of 2029.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I’m extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at The University of Louisville! I am so thankful for my family, coaches at FAST and WHS, and friends who have helped get me to this point! I especially want to thank my sister for being my role model. I wouldn’t be who I am today without her! I can’t wait to become part of the Cardinal family! Until then…GO CARDS!!”

Mishler does her club swimming with Fishers Area Swimming Tigers and last competed at Junior Nationals where she finished seventh in the 50m free. She won the 50m free and 100m back at Indiana LCM Seniors this past summer and earned bronze in both of those events at Indianapolis Sectionals in March.

Her best times include:

  • 50 free – 22.67
  • 100 free – 49.75
  • 100 back. 54.59

Currently a junior at Wawasee High School, Mishler placed third in both the 50 free and 100 free at the 2023 Indiana State Championships. She finished fifth and eighth, respectively, in those events during her freshman season.
