Athens Bulldog Chase Kalisz swam swift 1:55.63 to take the win in the 200 butterfly. Taking silver was Japan’s Masayu Umemoto in 1:57.64 while Jack Conger faded to third in 1:58.09. Longhorn freshman Sam Pomajevich was the last of the sub-2:00 club in 1:59.77 while Louisville’s Nicholas Albiero and Zach Harting took fifth and sixth. Touching seventh and eighth was Jacob Peters and Mack Darragh.
