MAUI, Hawaii, August 30. THE final day of competition at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships featured the open water 10K events.
USA's Tristin Baxter won the women's race with a time of 1:58:42.77, while teammate Damari Iriondo took second in 2:01:35.60. Japan's Haruna Ota captured third overall in 2:03:16.67.
On the men's side, Australia's George O'Brien captured the crown with a 1:50:59.12. Japan's Yohei Takiguchi took second in 1:53:24.00, while Australia's Chris Ashwood completed the podium with a third-place 1:53:28.69.
