Junior Pan Pac Bronze Medalist Gracie Weyant To Join Sister At Florida In 2024

NEW COMMIT: It’ll be a family reunion in Gainesville in Fall 2024 as Gracie Weyant will join her older sister, Olympic silver medalist Emma Weyant, at the University of Florida. Gracie is from Sarasota, Florida, and is a member of the U.S. National Team.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“Extremely excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim at the University of Florida! I cannot thank my friends, family, coaches, and teammates enough for their support. GO GATORS!!”

A talented IMer like her sister, Weyant most recently earned bronze in the 200m IM at the Junior Pan Pac Championships, also placing fourth in the 200m breast, eighth in the 100m breast and 12th in the 800m free. She also won the 200m IM and 200m breast at Cary Futures this past summer.

Last winter, she was the runner-up in the 200 breast at Juniors East and won two events at Orlando Sectionals two months later.

Her best times include:

  • 100 free – 50.45
  • 200 free – 1:49.17
  • 500 free – 4:52.91
  • 1650 free – 16:41.94
  • 100 breast – 1:01.51
  • 200 breast – 2:11.98
  • 200 IM – 2:00.62
  • 400 IM – 4:16.98

Currently a junior at Riverview High School, Weyant won the 100 breast and 200 IM at the Florida 4A State Championships last season and took first and second, respectively, in those events during her freshman season.
