RICCIONE, Italy, March 5. DURING the first night of long course meter swimming at the Italian National Championships, Alessia Filippi and Federico Colbertaldo walked away with distance freestyle victories.
Filippi checked in with a time of 16:00.60 for the women's 1500 free triumph over Rachele Bruni's 16:30.03.
Meanwhile, Colbertaldo hit the wall in 7:51.65 for the men's 800 free win. Samuel Pizzetti took second in 7:54.27, while Valerio Cleri placed third in 8:07.21.
