Heat Sheets Posted for NCAA Women’s Championships Day 2 Prelims
The first full day of the NCAA Division I Women’s Championships is sure to continue the meet’s fast start from Wednesday’s opening relay.

There are plenty of stars and top seeds looking to get their hand on the wall first and put their teams in contention.
The first event in Wednesday’s prelims is the 200 free relay. Cal is the top seed at 1:25.87, followed by Louisville (1:26.92) and Michigan (1:28.00). The Golden Bears are coming off a third-place finish in the 800 free relay on Wednesday, while the Wolverines were runner-up to Stanford.
The first individual event of the meet is the 500 free. Katie Ledecky is the top seed by far at 4:26.09. Next is Michigan’s Rose Bi at 4:35.02, followed by Georgia’s Courtney Harnish (4:35.69).
In the 200 IM, Texas A&M’s Sydney Pickrem has the top seed at 1:52.69, while Cal’s Kathleen Baker is second (1:52.70) and Kentucky’s Asia Seidt third (1:53.04) with Tennessee’s Meghan Small and Stanford’s Ella Eastin looming.
The first sprint event is the 50 free and Stanford’s Simone Manuel is the top seed at 21.20, just ahead of Ohio State’s Liz Li (21.28), Tennessee’s Erika Brown (21.39) and Cal’s Abbey Weitzeil (21.41).
The 400 free relay will close the morning session with Stanford as the top seed in 3:25.15, followed by Cal (3:25.50) and Indiana (3:27.81).

Ella swam a 1:41+ 200y in the 800y relay today, Plus her pre-taper NCAA record fly during PAC12’s.
