ESTERO, Florida, January 21. YESTERDAY, Gulf Coast Swim Team president Don Henshaw sent word that the GCST Board of Directors has issued a $1,000 donation to the American Red Cross to aid in the Haiti Earthquake Relief efforts.
Henshaw also asked Swimming World if we could broadcast his challenge for other clubs to do the same.
"I would like to challenge all Florida Swimming clubs to please donate anything they can to help with this major disaster in our part of the world," Henshaw said. "Any amount given can go a long way collectively, as we help others far less fortunate than ourselves in their time of need."
