Florida State Meets Produce Fast Times

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. November 26. SPEEDY, that's what kind of times came out of Florida's three high school state meets. Both the boys and girls produced great times in individual races and relays. The fastest times overall from the three different divisions are as follows.

Boys

Shaune Fraser's 200 free of 1:36.33 was smokin', as was Michael Silva's 1:52.76 in the 200 IM and sprinter Alexander Forbes' 20.68 in the 50 free. A 48.35 from Tommy Wyher in the 100 fly and his 49.65 in the 100 back were also splendid. Aaron Aiken clocked 45.86 in the 100 free and Fraser added a 4:24.42 effort in the 500 free. Last, but not least, a 56.25 from Silva in the 100 breast marked his second appearance on the list. Also, the Bolles School went a state record in the 200 free relay with a 1:24.25.
