The 800 freestyle relay from Georgia just acheived a new NCAA Meet and American record. Their time of 7:01.03 crushes Auburn's NCAA Meet record of 2003, when it swam a 7:02.72.
The American record was shared between Stanford and Georgia, who held the record with a time of 7:04.06. Stanford achieved the record in 1992 while the Bulldogs had the record earlier this year.
