FINA World Cup Moscow Stop LIVE on Universal Sports Network
LOS ANGELES, California, November 7. UNIVERSAL Sports will provide coverage for the fifth round of the FINA World Cup starting Saturday, Nov. 8 from Moscow. Taking place in seven cities on five continents, Universal Sports TV and UniversalSports.com will feature live and on-demand coverage of this major short-course (25m) competitive circuit.
The Aussies are still dominating the competition with Christian Sprenger leading the men's side and Marieke Guehrer leading the women's. Guehrer stands with a commanding 55 point lead while Sprenger has fellow Aussie world record breakers Hurley and Jackovic close on his tale. Top American Swimmer Randall Bal moved from a previous 7th place to 5th place after the Singapore meet in the men's division while Tara Kirk dropped two places to 13th on the women's side. The pressure keeps rising as the worlds swimmers come closer to grasping the $1.1 million prize purse.
