RIJEKA, Croatia, December 14. DURING the final day of preliminary action, Amaury Leveaux gave the world its 102nd world-record setting performance with a stunning time in the men's 50 fly at the European Short Course Championships.
Leveaux clocked a time of 22.18 to lead preliminary qualifying to lower his own record of 22.29 set at the French Short Course Championships last weekend.
His closest competitor was Fred Bousquet, who qualified second in 22.65.
