BUDAPEST, Hungary, August 14. TWO more gold medals were on offer in diving at the European Championships with the men's 10-meter synchro and women's three-meter individual events on display.
Germany's Sascha Klein and Patrick Hausding won the men's 10-meter synchro platform event by 11.16 points, 478.11 to 466.95, after a dogfight with Russia's Victor Minibaev and Ilya Zakharov as the two teams traded first place in the final three rounds. Belarus' Timofei Hordeichik and Vadim Kaptur claimed third overall with 426.03 points.
Russia's Nadezda Bazhina gave Russia a 1-2 in the women's three-meter individual event with 324.10, while teammate Anastasia Pozdnyakova took second with a tally of 316.40 points. Hungary's Nora Barta earned third with 291.75 points.
