NEW COMMIT: Alex Boratto, a backstroker from Lower Gwynedd, PA has verbally committed to swim for Stanford University beginning in the fall of 2018.
Boratto wrote,
“Stanford offered the best combination of Academics and Athletics for what I was looking to get out of my college experience. I am honored and excited to be part of this great program. #Fearthetree”
Boratto trains with Upper Dublin Aquatic Club in Fort Washington. He’s a rising senior at the Haverford School. He’s the defending Eastern Interscholastic Champion in the 200 freestyle (1:39.40) and 100 backstroke. Boratto is also the 100 backstroke meet record holder (48.86). He continued his success into this summer when he won the 50 backstroke at NCSA Championships.

Jack LeVant and David Madej are also verbally committed to the Cardinal class of 2022.
