Women’s 200 Free

Nova Southeastern senior Emma Wahlstrom won a tight 200 free final, coming from behind on the last 50 to take the win in 1:46.81. That is the senior’s first individual NCAA title, improving on her 3rd place finish from last year.

Bridgeport freshman Oksana Marchuk was leading at the 100 and 150 but couldn’t hold off a charging Wahlstrom, who split a 27.00 on her final 50. The freshman finished in a personal best 1:46.91, well ahead of 3rd place finished McKenzie Stevens from Queens (1:48.33).
