Class of 2011 Swimming World Five Star Patrick Myers Commits
PHOENIX, Arizona, October 8. SWIMMING World five star Patrick Myers of the Class of 2011 knows where he intends on going to college after his senior year.
Myers, who maintains his profile in the Swimming World College Recruit Rankings, is a backstroke specialist who will be headed to the University of North Carolina after this year.
"Yes, I am committed to UNC, and am really psyched about it!" Myers told Swimming World. "I chose UNC because it was a perfect combination for me of a competitive swim program and a challenging academic school. Also, I loved the team, the coaches, the campus, and the location of the school. It doesn't get any better than North Carolina!"
Myers swims for BlueFish Swim Club and preps at King Philip High School. He owns long course senior national cuts in the 100 back (57.57) and 200 back (2:03.95).
