Clarion, Duquesne Men and Women Meet With Pitt

PITTSBURGH, PA, February 7. PITTSBURGH reported on home competition with Duquesne and Clarion. The Panthers dominated throughout, including several solid swims at the 100 distance and almost universally slow swims at 200 and above.
Pitt’s top women swims included Andrea Shoust at :57.68 to win the 100 back and Lindsey Tibero touching first in the 100 breast, 1:04.62.
Top men’s performances, again all from Pitt, were Thomas Bird picking up the 100 back / 100 fly double at :51.30 / :51.50, Darryl Washington :57.24 100 breast and Jason Miller at :45.91 in the 100 free.
