Christian Sprenger Smokes 100 Breast En Route to Australian Record

CHANDLER, Australia, February 23. ACCORDING to a report by The Age, Christian Sprenger posted the seventh-fastest time in the history of the 100 breast with a time of 1:00.15 at the Brisbane Metropolitan Championships.
Sprenger's effort surpassed the previous best time by an Australian of 1:00.39 set by Brenton Rickard at the 2006 Pan Pacific Championships in Victoria, Canada.
"It is a just reward for a lot of hard work and we are now very excited about his prospects at the trials," head coach Stefan Widmer told The Age.
