Cheyenne Mountain enters the meet with top seeds in each of the three relays. Last year the team won the 200 medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay en route to the team championship. The team is lead by a number of strong swimmers who hold top three seeds in a number of events.

Daniel Carr is top seed in the 50 freestyle, over a second ahead of the next fastest swimmer. The senior also leads the way in the 500 freestyle, showing impressive range. Junior Kyle Leach is the second seed in the 200 freestyle and enters the meet seeded third in the 100 butterfly.

Jerry Birnbaum holds the second spot in the 100 backstroke. In the 100 breaststroke sophomore Sheridan Harder is the third seed, one of three swimmers under a minute.

Fossil Ridge dominated last year’s Championship. The team won both freestyle relays in 2016 but this year they have top seeds in all three relay events. The team enters the meet with a few top three seeds.

Junior Danny Kovac is the second seed in the 100 backstroke and third in the 100 butterfly. Matt Geraghty is third in the 100 free. Freshman Josh Pales is the 100 breaststroke’s third seed.

Fairview senior Michael Zarian leads the way in the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly. Denver South’s Keegan Bundy looks to dominate the sprint freestyle events. He’s the top seed in the 50 and 100 freestyle.

Broomfield freshman Harrison Lierz will look to make a statement for the underclassman. He’s the fastest entrant in the 500 freestyle and second seed in the 200 IM.

Columbine’s sophomore Gavin Olson is the fastest swimmer entered in the 100 backstroke. In the 100 breaststroke Liberty senior Joshua Lenzmeier is one of ten swimmers entered under a minute.
