Caroline Krattli Sets SCM Masters World Record in Mission Viejo

MISSION VIEJO, California, October 8. WITH more than 150 swimmers in attendance at the SCM – Mission Viejo meet held in Calif., Caroline Krattli, 45, put together a record-breaking performance.
Krattli, who swims for San Diego Swim Masters, set a 45-49 division world record in the 200 breast. She shattered the previous world record of 2:48.38 set by Jenny Whiteley with a time of 2:42.10. The time also broke the USMS record of 2:54.05 set by Colette Crabbe.
Krattli, and Swimming World Magazine contributor Karlyn Pipes-Neilsen have been rewriting the 45-49 division world records this year with top performances going down throughout the year.
