SAINT PETERSBURG, Florida, April 3. ACCORDING to a report sent into Swimming World, Burwell "Bumpy" Jones, 75, set five USMS records while representing the Sarasota YMCA Sharks Masters at the 38th Annual Short Course Championships.
Jones, who is a member of the International Swimming Hall of Fame, set records in the 500 free (6:25.47), 1000 free (split/13:25.53), 1650 free (22:13.03), 100 back (1:13.99) and 200 IM (2:48.07).
