NEW COMMIT: Bucknell University has picked up their third verbal commitment for the 2022-23 season and beyond from Emma Feld of New York, N.Y.

She will join Claire Kehley and Megan Leyden as a member of the Bison’s Class of 2026.

Regarding her commitment, she said:

“I’m so grateful to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Bucknell University! A BIG thank you to my family, friends and coaches for all of the support. Can’t wait to join the Bison family!! ??”

A talented backstroker, Feld now does her club swimming with Austin Swim Club in Texas after training with Asphalt Green in New York. She finished fifth in the 200 back at the 18&U Winter Championships in December and was a five-time finalist at Eastern Zone Seniors in August 2019.

Her best times include:

  • 100 back – 56.80
  • 200 back – 2:00.26
  • 100 fly – 56.43
  • 200 fly – 2:03.72
  • 200 IM – 2:06.90
  • 400 IM – 4:26.33
  • 200 free – 1:52.50

Feld will make an immediate impact when she arrives in Lewisburg in the fall of 2022. She would’ve scored in the A-final of the 200 back and 400 IM at the 2020 Patriot League Championships, and she would’ve ranked in the top-3 on the Bison’s roster in the 200 back, 200 fly, and 200/400 IM.
