FRANKFURT, Germany, December 15. ACCORDING to The Associated Press, German company adidas has elected to cancel its contract with the German Swimming Federation immediately.
According to the article, German swimmers have been asking for the freedom to wear other high-tech speedsuits of their choice. This action did not fall in line with the contract between the Federation and adidas.
"adidas informed the German swimming federation today about the immediate annulment of the contract," company spokesman Oliver Brueggen told The Associated Press.
The article also stated that adidas does not intend to leave the sport of swimming.
