2019 Speedo Junior Nationals: Day Two Prelims Heat Sheets

The second full morning of the 2019 Speedo Junior Nationals from Palo Alto, California will have six events on hand for Wednesday morning’s session. The 200 back, 100 free and 400 IM will take place today with some of the best young up-and-coming swimmers on the heat sheets ready to make their mark.
Alexandra Crisera is the top seed in the 200 back as she will look to defend her title she won last year at Speedo Juniors. The California native will be headed to Stanford in the fall and she is seeded first this morning ahead of Summer Smith and Cora Dupre.
Dynamo’s Ian Grum is the top seed in the men’s 200 back as he will be a sophomore at the University of Georgia, one of the many swimmers from that club to swim collegiately at Athens. Nathan Hayes and Hugh Svendsen are seeded second and third on this morning’s heat sheets.
Samantha Pearson will swim in the final heat of the 100 free as she is seeded ahead of Miranda Heckman and Grace Felner. Heckman will be headed to the University of Texas this fall.
Bellevue’s Matt King is seeded first in the men’s 100 free as he will be seeded ahead of Jack Walker and Andrew Benson.
The 400 IM heats will be flighted with the five fastest heats taking place before the rest for the men and women. Summer Smith and Ian Grum are seeded first in their respective events.
