The Cal Bears kept their streak of winning relays alive at this meet, taking the 400 medley relay in 3:04.09. The team of Daniel Carr (45.61), Reece Whitley (51.91), Andrew Seliskar (44.80), and Michael Jensen (41.77) had to hold off a charging USC in the final 200 yards, but held on for the win to make it three straight relay titles at this meet.
That is the second win of the night for Seliskar, who broke the meet record in the 200 free earlier in the session. He also had the fastest 100 fly split of the entire field. In second was the team from USC (3:04.62), while Arizona grabbed third (3:06.61).
