NC State Women Dominate In Florida

The North Carolina State women competed in a tri-meet on January 8 and a quad-meet on January 9. The Wolfpack defeated all five teams they competed against while they were in Florida.
On January 8, NC State defeated FIU 160-126 and Kansas 161-119. The next day, the Wolfpack defeated Liberty 208-88, FGCU 169-139, and CCSU 207-89.
NC State vs. FIU, Kansas
The Wolfpack won all 18 events in their first meet on January 8. In Hannah Moore’s first meet after transferring to NC State, she won the 1650 (16:18.41). They went 1-2-3 in the 200 free, led by Michelle Craddock in 1:51.22. Lindsay Morrow won both the 100 back (56.04) and the 200 back (2:01.35), Kayla Brumbaum took the top spot in the 100 breast (1:03.74) and the 200 breast (2:17.25), and Natalie Labonge dominated the 50 free (23.48) and the 100 free (50.73).

NC State vs. CCSU, Liberty, FGCU
To follow up her win in the mile the previous day, Moore won the 1000 in 9:57.00. Labonge won both the 50 free (23.12) and 100 free (50.33) for the second day in a row. Kristin Connors was the only swimmer under the 5-minute mark in the 500 free, posting a time of 4:58.24. The Wolfpack again went 1-2-3 in the 200 free, this time led by Rachel Muller in 1:48.54.
