HOLLAND, Michigan, December 31. ACCORDING to an article in the Holland Sentinel, Zeeland High School's swimming and diving team raised more than $15,000 for cancer research earlier this week.
The team, along with strong support from parents, raised more than $16,700 "by collecting donations and selling purple T-shirts, purple wristbands, concessions and raffle tickets."
"We're overwhelmed by that amount," Dawn Zwiers, junior swimmer Dylan Zwier's mother, told the Holland Sentinel.
