Louisville’s Zach Harting shocked everybody by getting second in the 200 fly final at the Phillips 66 Nationals in Irvine, California. Harting talked about his new good luck charm, moving on from the Batman suit to his new “gas can.”

Harting explained why he decided to use that as his good luck charm and where he got the inspiration from. Harting also talked about how his training has been different this past season as compared to last and why he is swimming so much better this summer.

I’ve known Zach for years and he has an amazing work ethic. Anyone that knows him isn’t shocked at all.
