Thomas Hallock has pledged his verbal commitment to Virginia Tech. Hallock swims for Machine Aquatics in Virginia.
Hallock has best times of:
50/100 Free: 20.42/45.58
50/100 Fly: 22.75/51.70
50/100 Back: 24.41/51.27
Swimming for Oakton High School at the 2016 Virginia 6A High School State Championships, he was the runner up in the 50 freestyle (20.70). As the only junior in a heat full of seniors, Hallock has a solid shot at the state title this season. In 2015, he was a member of the state record setting 200 freestyle relay. Last year he anchored (20.18) the squad to a third place finish. On the end of the 400 freestyle relay he split a 44.98.
The H20kies finished fourth at last year’s ACC Championships. Hallock is just outside scoring range in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Freshman Ian Ho was Virginia Tech’s only finals swimmer in the 50 freestyle. He finished 23rd in 20.28. Senior Lucas Bureau (43.67) and freshman Brent Benedict (44.04) represented the H20kies in the C final of the 100 freestyle.

??? great news, Tommy!
Congratulations.
SwimmungWorld makes it sound as if he swims in Virginia, as part of VSI. Actually, Machine is a PVS club.
