Virginia Swimmer Loses Both Her Parents in Gas Explosion, Needs Your Prayers and Support

CHARLOTTESVLLE, Virginia, Feb. 18. FORMER University of Virginia swimming ace, Mirjana Bosevska, recently suffered a great loss. She lost both her parents in a gas explosion that destroyed their apartment complex in Skopje, Macedonia.

Mirjana’s mother Vanka was killed instantly and her father, Risto, succumbed to his injuries several days later.

While Mirjana will be in Macedonia through, at least the end of the month, we are she would appreciate any thoughts or prayers you could share with her.

Mirjana, a 2003 graduate of the University of Virginia, has accumulated a significant amount of debt as a result of this tragedy. Attorney David Schoenberg has generously offered his escrow account so that we may collect donations, which will be passed directly to Mirjana.
