Viktor Bromer, Rikke Moller Pedersen With FINA A Cuts in Denmark
Viktor Bromer and Rikke Moller Pedersen each clocked FINA A cuts at the 2016 Danish Open.
Viktor Bromer hit the FINA A cut in the men’s 200-meter fly on the head with a 1:56.97 to win the event. The swim also pushed him to 14th in the world rankings.
Magnus Sloth Poulsen finished second in a time of 2:02.13 with Mikkel-Emil Rosenbom placing third overall in 2:04.43.
Rikke Moller Pedersen won the women’s 100-meter breast in 1:07.58, clearing the FINA A cut of 1:07.85. Anouk Elzerman (1:10.19) and Josefine Pedersen (1:10.90) placed second and third.
George Bovell of Trinidad and Tobago won the men’s 50-meter free in a time of 22.79. Andreas Schiellerup finished second in 22.91 with Anders Lie earning third in 22.93.
Katrine Bukh Villesen earned the women’s 400-meter IM crown in 4:53.62. Helena Rosendahl took second in 4:58.94 with Katrine Hansen snagging third in 5:00.42.
Frans Johannessen won the men’s 200-meter IM in 2:05.31. Andreas Elmgreen (2:07.12) and Daniel Christian (2:07.13) battled for second.
Emilie Beckmann claimed the women’s 50-meter fly in 25.96 with Amalie Mikkelsen taking second in 27.10. Caroline Erichsen wound up third in 27.44.
Oli Mortensen won the men’s 800-meter free in 8:10.94 with Viktor Holm taking second in 8:16.42. Mads Holm rounded out the top three in 8:22.81.
