(Video Interviews) Mallory Comerford and Other ACC Champions from Wednesday Night

Following an excellent third night of competition at the women’s ACC championships in Atlanta, Swimming World caught up with a few of the evening’s top performers.

That list includes Mallory Comerford, who set an ACC record and the top time in the country in the 200 free. Comerford explained the significance of going head-to-head with Olympic gold medalist Leah Smith, how her confidence has grown over the last year and revealed how much she tapered for ACCs.

UNC’s Hellen Moffitt, Virginia’s Laura Simon and NC State’s Alexia Zevnik and Kayla Brumbaum also gave their thoughts on the meet so far and on the team battles heading into the final day of the meet.
