Zane Grothe talked about why he is trying to be more aggressive on the first 200 of the 400 and where he is hoping he can be on that split come Nationals and/or Pan Pacs.
Grothe also discussed how he likes his new role as being “the man” in the US in the 400 free, and how his focus has changed the last few years since he was a miler in a past life.
Grothe also talked about how he feels about his event lineup for Nationals and if he will attempt to swim the 200, 400, 800 and 1500 for this summer.
