Mallory Comerford learned Tuesday that she and Katie Ledecky will not have a rematch in the 200 free at the NCAA championships after they tied for the title last season, but as she explained in a video interview Thursday night at the TYR Pro Swim Series meet in Atlanta, she’s not too upset about that.

Comerford also explained why she came to race long course in Atlanta, where she finished third in the 100 free in 54.06, with just two weeks to go before the NCAA championships. Comerford lit up when discussing her Louisville team and why she thinks this year’s Cardinals are so dangerous at the NCAA championships.
