24-year-old Kevin Cordes talked Thursday night about his 200 breast to start the Indianapolis Pro Swim Series and where he is at with his training so far this season. He swam a 2:13.19 tonight as he was around that time at the last two Pro Swim Series stops.
Cordes’ coach Sergio Lopez recently got a job with Virginia Tech and Cordes said he had no set plan on if he was going to move out of Auburn and continue to train with him and he was going to not think about it too much and keep training hard.
Cordes also talked about what he does outside of the pool when he is out of training. He likes to watch Netflix and also talked about what types of good foods he likes to eat.
When asked about the deep breaststroke field in the USA right now, Cordes said it makes it easy to stay focused on what he needs to do in practice.
