Coming off a strong collegiate season with the Stanford Cardinal, Katie Drabot pushed through a tough double in Indianapolis as she tackled both the 100 fly and 400 free at the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series. Drabot explained how the double was “fun” and made her feel like she was back in club swimming “where you just swim as many events as you can back to back.”
Drabot expressed satisfaction with her times considering the tough training that Stanford has been partaking in and has provided her with some good feedback to take with her back to campus.
When asked about the 2017-18 NCAA season, Drabot exclaimed that she was proud of how well the team motivated each other and overcame the adversity of both illness and injury on the team. She added that she’s excited to watch this year’s freshman class continue to improve and is looking forward to welcoming the next class of freshman to campus next year.
