Mesa native and 2012 Olympian Breeja Larson placed third in the 200 breaststroke (2:27.77) at the Mesa stop of the 2018 TYR Pro Swim Series. Larson said there was a lot of strategy involved because of the incredibly windy conditions.

While she discussed going with and against the wind in the 200 breast, Larson also explained how she is using this philosophy in life after completing her masters degree. She is teaching classes, mentoring athletes and traveling around the world including an upcoming trip to Argentina.
