Michael Andrew took down Nathan Adrian to win the 50 free at the TYR Pro Swim Series meet in Atlanta, posting a time of 21.93, and after the race, he explained why the Pro Series victory, his first in several years, was such a big deal for him.

Andrew explained why he admires Adrian for his consistency, and he also discussed which races are his primary focus over the next few months leading up to U.S. Nationals, how it feels to almost be 18 and out of the “junior ranks” and how his training continues to evolve.
