NEW COMMIT: The University of Southern California has received its first verbal commitment for the 2023-24 season from in-state standout Keller Morgan of Trabuco Canyon, Calif.
Regarding his commitment, he said:

”
A distance freestyle and IM specialist, Morgan trains year-round with Evolution Racing Club and placed eighth in the 400 IM at Speedo Winter Junior West Championships earlier this month. This past summer, he raced to ninth in the 200m IM at Santa Clarita Sectionals before going on to final in that event at the Speedo Summer West Championships.
His best times include:
- 1650 free – 15:51.85
- 1000 free – 9:33.67
- 500 free – 4:29.70
- 200 free – 1:39.82
- 200 IM – 1:48.69
- 400 IM – 3:51.56
- 100 breast – 57.82
- 200 breast – 2:05.57
Currently a junior at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, Morgan raced to fifth in both the 200 IM and 500 free at the 2021 CIF DI Southern Section Championships. He was named the school’s Swimmer of the Year for helping his team clinch the divisional title.
His high school teammate, Macky Hodges, has verbaled to the Women of Troy for 2023.
