USA Swimming Trials Day 1 Finals Heat Sheets; Multiple Scratches In Men’s 400 IM

Heat sheets for day one finals of the 2016 U.S. Olympic Swimming Trials are available now with four of the five events remaining the same. The only event to have suffered scratches was the final of the men’s 400 Individual Medley after three of the top eight qualifiers scratched for various reasons.

Tyler Clary, Michael Weiss, and Josh Prenot all scratched out of the 400 IM so as to focus on some of their other events this week. Prenot, who delivered a dominating split in the breaststroke leg, will be swimming in semi-finals of the 100 breaststroke, while Clary and Weiss will both be concentrating on their various 200’s later this week.
