COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, August 24. USA Swimming announced Thursday that the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials will be held June 29 – July 6, 2008, at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Neb. Preliminaries will begin at 11:00 a.m. CDT and finals will be contested at 7:00 p.m. CDT.
The June 29 start date represents a one-day shift from the original schedule. Trials were previously scheduled to begin June 30. The full schedule of events will be determined following the release of the 2008 Olympic event order.
