PHOENIX, Arizona, September 7. MEGAN Lam, 13, of the Tualatin Hills Swim Club in Oregon, has been named this month's TYR Age Group Swimmer of the Month in Swimming World Magazine.
Lam had a strong long course season, concluding with a 13-year-old highpoint at the Oregon Long Course Championships in July. She won the 200 (2:10.02) and 400 (4:37.09) freestyle events, as well as both IMs with wins in the 200 (2:26.66) and 400 (5:15.08).
