Victoria “Torri” Huske stole the show at the 2019 Virginia Class 6 State Championships, setting a new National High School record in the 100 fly.

A current sophomore at Yorktown High School, Huske blasted a time of 51.29 during finals en route to breaking the old mark of 51.62. The previous record was held by Verona/Mount Horeb’s Beata Nelson set on November 14, 2015.

The time would put Huske seventh in Division I right now.

Her splits:

  • 50 – 23.69
  • 100 – 51.29 (27.60)

Huske’s previous best time in the 100 fly was a 51.72 set at the PV Sport Fair Winter Classic in December 2018. She does her club swimming with Arlington Aquatic Club.
