It’s the final week of dual meets for the Big 12 Conference before the conference championships that start February 24 and it’s chock full of conference match ups!
Top Storylines:
- No. 1/No. 4 Texas and unranked TCU will square off in what will be a challenge for the Horned Frogs and probably a walk in the park for the Longhorns. Both teams are coming off of competition weekends and swimmers will probably be in the beginning stages of taper, which could throw a curveball to some swimmers’ races.
- The meet between Kansas and Iowa State should be an exciting one. The teams are well-matched, especially in the breaststroke department, which will make the IMs and medley relays exciting as well.
- West Virginia’s divers head out to James Madison University to compete in the diving invitational with the hopes of qualifying for zones–in order to qualify for NCAAs–and hone some last minute details before the conference championship.
